- 3/4 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1/4 tsp cloves
- 2 large eggs
- 1 can (15 oz) Libby's 100% Pure Pumpkin
- 1 can (12 fl oz) Carnation Evaporated Milk
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell (store bought or home made)
Mix sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger and cloves in a small bowl.
Beat eggs in a large bowl. Stir in pumpkin and sugar-spice mixture.
Gradually mix in evaporated milk.
Pour into pie shell.
Bake in preheated 425 degree oven for 15 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for an additional 40-50 minutes, until knife inserted into center comes away clean.
Cool on a rack for 2 hours. Serve immediately or chill.
